19 different MLB teams have won the Home Run Derby since its founding. And though the event has seen many changes since its inaugural start in 1985, one thing has always stayed the same – the power. The winner of the Derby takes home $1 million, thanks to a new agreement between MLB and the MLB Players Association put in place prior to the 2019 season.
